As one of the top graduates in his class at the Cleveland Institute of Art, and with over twelve years of hands on experience designing, fabricating and sculpting with various materials and techniques, Ed Zmarzly is serious about his business. He has lectured and instructed in Ohio, received various awards for his pieces, and his metal works grace establishments like the entrance gates to the Valley Art Center in Ohio and the Holocaust Memorial in Pennsylvania.
Having traveled to Italy, Spain, and Scotland, Ed has witnessed some extremely majestic places; these visions are apparent in his work. Skilled and extremely focused, he is passionate about helping his clients and fellow artists realize their artistic desires. His motivation and enthusiasm are contagious and he enjoys creating art pieces and experiences that are as unique as the individual he works with. Art through metal works might be Ed’s passion, but client satisfaction is his purpose.
A ceramic artist at Light Sculpture works, John Sweeney is a visionary. He has the innate ability to take real-life inspired subjects and craft them into the most unique sculptures. A BFA candidate at the Cleveland Institute of art, he’s had the opportunity to intern with one of Ohio’s well-known ceramic artists, Kristen Cliffel, and has been awarded, two years in a row, the Victor Schreckongost Award for excellence in ceramics.
All of John’s one of a-kind-sculptures are infused with vivid imagination. Each piece is fun and intriguing and will take you away from the world as you know it; allowing you to see things through John’s eyes.
